We recommend that you perform a clean uninstall of Lync for Mac 2011 prior to installing Skype for Business. Side-by-side installation of Skype for Business and Lync is not supported on Mac. I was using the desktop app for quite a few months already but in the last days I wasn't able to see the icons people added to messages, or the reactions, and this made the communication more difficult, so I logged out to see if that would fix the problem, The work day with our work teams, so I'm using the tool A LOT this days. All important announcements are made through this tool and we're connected during I'm working remotely as many of you, I guess, and my company is using Teams as an official channel to communicate with all the employees worldwide.
